Thanks to parents and Mrs. Rose, we were able to out our solar ovens to the test, Friday. They were quite the success and left the kids a chocolaty-mess! They loved this learning experience.

Guest Speaker on Composting
Monte Stephens from UGA's Extension Group came out today to talk to our third grader's about composting. He was really great a relating to our project and giving us some valuable information about what to put in our compost pile. We're working together to get the project started for the year.
Math Graphing Activity
On Wednesday we took a trip to our school parking lot to find real data to graph. The kids used bar graphs to show how many cars/car colors in the MBES parking lot. They loved getting out of the classroom!
